Mission Statement of Nordic Voice

The purpose of Nordic Voice is to enhance and improve the non-motorized winter recreation
experience for skiers and snowshoers of all ages and skill levels. Whether your quest is cross-
country skiing or snowshoeing or yurt to yurt touring and telemarking, you can help Nordic
Voice improve winter recreation opportunities in southwest Idaho.

Through organization and information exchange Nordic Voice continues to be the leading
advocate for the interests of the non-motorized winter recreationist. Nordic Voice actively
collaborates with public land management agencies and private organizations to pursue long-
term goals and funding opportunites. Nordic Voice also performs a critical role by recruiting
volunteers and coordinating projects that benefit all those interested in the pursuit of
non-motorized winter recreation.
